Rhythms of Rajasthan is a LIVE band based out of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It is a colourful initiative to collaborate with various folk performing artists of Rajasthan. A brainchild of Nitin Nath Harsha, a folklore promoter of Rajasthan, the project was conceived in Jodhpur itself.  Nitin has worked with more than a 100 folk artists across Rajasthan for the last 15 years. He began his career with Late Padam Bhushan Komal Kothari, a legendary folklorist of Rajasthan. Rhythm of Rajasthan’s vision and mission is to ensemble the top class folk performing artists of Rajasthan to come up with different performing art genres to showcase their talent at national and international platforms. In 2009 and 2011, Rhythm of Rajasthan received great reviews from their tour of US and Canada that includes performances at venues like the Kenney Centre (Maximum India), Hollywood Bowl (opening for global superstar, AR Rahman), the 5th Annual New York Gypsy Festival at the World Music Institute, and the 11th Chicago World Music Festival. The Rhythms of Rajasthan has proven time to time that their performances are exciting and forays into the musical and cultural heritage of Northern India and has captivated audiences worldwide.
