Revelation the Band is a LIVE act based out of Kota, Rajasthan. The band’s unique style has helped them gain an audience, seen as an alternative to the dominant Indian film or classical music. Revelation is among the first to bring rock culture in the city. The band members are all stone apart, but still together on a same familiar footing called music. All of them are experienced musicians, having performed the majority of musical styles throughout their careers. The band has its own style of music, covering and composing. Revelation thinks that an artist paints a picture on canvas but a musician paints on silence. The band strongly agrees that music is a very powerful source of communication. Band Members: Clive – Lead Guitar He is known for his innovative performance, intense solos and high-frequency feedback. Clive is also known for energetic and acrobatic stage performances. His versatility on the guitar and his high tech setup have placed him in demand among many musicians in Rajasthan. In short, a perfect blend of music, magic and passion is what he plays. The lead guitarist of the band, Clive’s sound is one that has inspired musicians all over to take up the guitar. He is been traditionally known for his rock and blues sound, combined with a core Indian sensibility and understanding. Edwin – Guitars He is another gem of the band that has more than 15 years of stage show experience. Edwin has cemented his reputation as a fluid, articulate player. He ferocious riffs and searing solos quickly became the band’s signature. The busiest musician in the band, playing on an average six shows a week and does not remember the last day he went without singing, playing, or teaching music. Akshit – Bass To live not only a heart is necessary, but a beating heart. A vibrant, vivacious bass guitarist makes band alive and plays a key role in setting the backing. Akshit with his group performed his rangy and complex but accessible compositions and gladly assists with his vocals. He is inspired by artists like Fred Hammond and Kirk Franklin. Also known as ‘The Wall’, he is known for his characteristic improvisational harmonic abilities, sound funk pocket playing, slapping, snapping, popping and altogether grooving. Ashwin – Vocals Voice is the best recognition of a person and this is what he is known for. Ashwin’s deep, soulful baritone voice has done miracles. His passion when singing is amazing, Ashwin voice is so clear and powerful that sometimes you just can't believe it's true. He manages to combine his understanding of melody and rhythm together to create his own unique style, both in compositions as well as on stage. Shivi – Vocals He has the track record to show music is his life and passion and it shows in every show he sings! Shivi can let go of his feelings for music. And he has a unique way in doing so. Bablu – Drums Bablu is a fresh blossom in the band’s garden.
