My Compelling Story

Red Shorts is LIVE band started by Nishant, Sharad and Arjun, who are school-time friends. After their school life, they began meeting for songwriting and music discussions. After deciding to form a band, they looked for a guitar player and thus found Mansij to handle the guitar duties. Officially, Red Shorts became functional in September 2013. Every member in the band has different musical influences, adding to the band’s unique sound. The band is overall inspired by various international and Indian genres, and all the members bring something different to the band. Red Shorts prefers to not restrict itself to one genre, and personally likes to call its music 'groove-oriented'. When asked to classify it, they primarily revolve around funk and blues.
