ReCycle is a LIVE band based out of Imphal, Manipur. The band was formed in 2006 with a collective urge to bring musical aspects of 90's alternative, grunge, and funk flavour to the Imphal music scene for the very first time. Before starting off their journey, all the band members played in different local bands. The band won the Best Vocalist Award at the Hornbill Rock Festival 2007 and took part in the Mega Nokia Promotional Christmas Rock Festival 2008 that was held in three districts of Manipur and Shillong (Meghalaya). In 2009, ReCycle also worked on a project which was part of the social awareness HIV/AIDS campaign called Rock4Life and contributed by writing a song called 'Walk On' for its compilation CD. This album was written by various artists from across the seven states of North East India to promote the cause. Their journey has culminated an experience of rehearsals, LIVE gigs, and studio recordings. Looking at the long journey ahead, the band is more than ready for the journey ahead. Recently, they have released an EP titled Cycle which consists of five songs; it was recorded at Shallow River Studios (Imphal), and mixed and mastered by Jeet Singh Ksh (Bangalore).
