Biography

Rangrez is a folk fusion band, which mainly combines Bengali and Punjabi folk, and add some western elements to it. There are 8 people in the band, 2 vocalists, 2 guitar players, 1 bass player, 1 percussionist and a drummer. The band was formed in September, 2014 in the capital city of India, New Delhi, and has been very active since then. They have been going in a lot of competitions and doing gigs. Recently, the band went to IIT Kanpur and IIT Bombay for their fusion band competitions Junoon and Mantra, and opened for Vishal-Shekhar as a part of the competition, and secured 1st position in both. They also played at Hauz Khas Village as a part of Battle Play at 30, and did a gig at Smokeys as a part of The Gig Week.
