Grandson of Dr. D. Ramanaidu, son of producer D. Suresh Babu, and nephew to Telugu superstar Venkatesh,Rana Daggubati made his debut as the lead actor in the political thriller ‘LEADER’ in the year 2010. Having inherited a passion for cinema from his family, in 2006, Hisfirst film as a Producer “A Belly full of Dreams” won the National Award for best film. Some of of his movie are ‘Leader’ released in February 2010, ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ (Hindi) and ‘Nenu Na Rakshasi’ (Telugu), released April 2010. ‘Naa Ishtam’ (Telugu) released March 2012. ‘Department’ (Hindi) released May 2012. ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’ (Telugu) released November 2012 etc.
