Ramya Pothuri is an acoustic singer based out of the capital city of Maharashtra, Mumbai. The professional singer has been performing LIVE for more than two years now. The 20-year old singer-songwriter was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where she first hit the stage at the age of five. After living and performing in St Louis, MO, for 10 years, she moved to Hyderabad, where she became an enthusiastic performer in the city's restaurant and hotel circuit, including a six-month stint at the Trident Hotel. A seasoned singer and fingerstyle guitarist, with an expansive repertoire, she is currently based in Mumbai. Since moving, she began performing and writing her own material and has since performed at venues such as the Blue Frog, NCPA, Todi Mill Social, Cafe Zoe, as well as the Little Gig Escape in Murud and The Lil Flea. She released her first independent EP of original music, titled ‘We Never Left’ on August 24th, 2016 and is currently promoting it through her venture, The Living Room Tour, a set of house gigs around Mumbai organised by herself and Ronit Sarkar.
