Praggananandhaa is an Indian chess player. He is best known for being the fifth one who won the title Grandmaster (GM) after the renowned chess players Abhimanyu Mishra, Sergey Karjakin, Gukesh D, and Javokhir Sindarov in February 2022.In 2013, Praggnanandhaa won the World Youth Chess Championships Under-8 title. At the age of seven, he earned the title of FIDE Master. In 2015, he won the Under-10 title.At the age of 10 years, 10 months, and 19 days, Praggananandhaa created history by becoming the youngest international master chess player. In 2017, he won the first grandmaster title at the World Junior Chess Championship. On 17 April 2018, he won the second grandmaster title at the Heraklion Fischer Memorial GM Norm tournament in Greece. Praggananandhaa earned the third grandmaster title on 23 June 2018 at the Gredine Open in Urtiji, Italy, at the age of 12 years, 10 months, and 13 days following which Praggananandhaa became the second-youngest person to win the grandmaster title at this age.Praggananandhaa won the World Youth Championships in the Under-18 section on 12 October 2019. In December 2019, he achieved a rating of 2600 and became the second-youngest person to achieve this rating.
