Ram Ramasamy is an Indian model, actor, and TV personality, who mainly works in the Tamil entertainment industry. He came into the spotlight in 2022 when he appeared as a contestant on the reality TV show Bigg Boss 6 Tamil.Since childhood, he was fond of cricket, and he grew up playing the sport.He was intrigued to pursue modelling after he was rejected in an audition for his college fashion team. In an interview, he recalled the incident and said, I got into modelling in 2016. When I was in college, I didn’t really know what modelling was completely about. But, I auditioned for the college fashion team in 2015, and I was rejected. That’s when I started wanting it really badly.”.Later, he signed with the eponymous talent management agency of Lovell Prabhu.Apart from being a runway model, he also featured in numerous print and digital advertisements for brands like Max Fashion (for their festive collection), Golden Opulence (apartments in Chennai by Golden Homes), Workaholic (for its workwear campaign), and Rosoda.
