Rahul Subramanian is a professional comedian based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. He is a struggling brand manager in the day and a standup comedian by the evening. He somehow graduated from IMT Ghaziabad in 2009 and is still surprised on how he managed that, while his father still shows disappointment as to why he couldn't make it to IIMs. Rahul began doing standups in the year 2014. He won the National Open Mic at the Pajama Fest, East India Comedy Virgin Pants, and Canvas Open Mic. He also took part in India's first ever YouTube comedy hunt (for video sketches) and his team, Random Chikibum, won the competition out of 1500 entries nationwide and after seven rounds of video-making. Rahul performs regularly at some of the top places in Mumbai, like Blue Frog, Canvas Laugh Club, The Hive, Three Wise Men, Tapathon, Cafe Nemo and many more. He performed at the Comedy Race in the Pajama Fest 2015. He also performed at the famous Kala Ghoda Festival and got featured in the national daily, Hindustan Times, as "the comedian who got most laughs." Besides Mumbai, Rahul also performs in Pune, Bangalore and Delhi on regular basis. "My key strengths are drinking filter coffee and taking no responsibilities, while my weaknesses are writing bios and Swot Analysis," concludes Rahul.
