But Rahil had always been interested in joining the glamour world and started working as a model to make a way into film and TV industry.After coming to Mumbai, he joined the Kishore Namit Kapoors acting institute for three months to improve his acting skills.He started his acting career with Ek Tukda Chand Ka (2001), but the role which made him famous was in the epic TV series Hatim as the lead.Rahil Azam has acted in over 25 TV shows, but he still works as a software engineer and handles his family business in Banglore.As a model Rahil has ramp walked for many fashion brands and has done a few TV commercials as well.He played the role of the son of ACP Pradumn in the episodic TV show CID.
