Purple Rain is a LIVE band based out of Panaji, Goa. One of the most enduring bands from the merry state, the group has stayed together for more than 25 years, facing many line-up changes, stress, and ever-demanding audiences. Led by Acacio Tavares, they have evolved through some incarnations since its inception in 1985. Challenges and changes aside, the band remains at the top of their game in the highly competitive market today. They have been the main attraction when on tour in whichever city in India they play in and have also visited the Gulf States, performing in front of adoring audiences at Goan events.
