Protocol is a professional metal/progressive/rock LIVE band based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. The band was formed in June 2012 and is heavily influenced by acts such as Life On Repeat, Conditions, I The Breather, Periphery, and Destiny Potato. Having gone into an indefinite hiatus initially, the band left everyone in the lurch just as they were about to release their debut EP. Their one of the tracks titled ‘Abeyance’ that really gave listeners a taste of all the wonderful things to come. Now, this outfit has resurrected quite like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Band Members: Sandesh Rao – Guitars Desikan Gopalan – Guitars Vivian D’souza – Bass Shweta Venkatramani – Vocals Nachiket Karekar – Drums The year 2016 began with a single-track release after quite a long break, but they are hoping to keep the momentum going, and are working on their EP that they will attempt to release this year.
