Born to a musician family of Allahabad on 24th August 1991, Priyank Krishna got music in his inheritance. He started his formal training in classical music at a very tender age under his father, the prominent Clarinet player of India, Pt Ram Krishna. Accompanying his father in various music concerts, today Priyank Krishna is carving out a niche for himself in the field of Saxophone. In his recital, Priyank likes to combine the melody of Gayaki and intricacies of Tantrakari Styles along with keeping the effectiveness of a western instrument. His performances have been applauded by audiences and music critics as well. He has also an expertise in playing traditional Indian Flute (Bansuri). During his musical journey, Priyank had the chance to be part of some of the most prestigious music ensembles of the country and on an international level. He performed with Mame Khan (Coke Studio fame), Rajasthan Roots, and Kutle Khan Project, just to name a few.
