Prelude is a five-piece soft rock/punk/blues rock band based out of the city of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Started back in 2009, they are probably the only soft rock band in the city that composes its original songs. Though initially the band faced many difficulties, but now, they have reached the right track and are performing all over the state. They started as a trio with Ishan, Ayan and Partha and jammed with only three cheap instruments. Then, Shariq joined in, but that was not enough. They didn't have a singer that could have stood up to their mark, and it was Pratik who finally filled the gap. The band has released four tracks since its formation, namely, Tere Liye, Dekha Tumhe Pehli Baar, Panchi Hoon, Main Toh Baawran and all of them have been very much appreciated by the entire music circuit.
