Biography

Pravesh Rana is a model and the winner of the Mr India title'2008. He is also a reality TV show personality. In 2009, Pravesh participated in Sony TV's reality show Bigg Boss, as a wild-card entry. Pravesh was born to a Hindu Jat family in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India, and completed his schooling from St. Mary's Academy, Meerut. Later, he moved to New Delhi, to pursue his graduation from Ramjas College, Delhi University. Pravesh is a BA (hons) in economics. Pravesh entered into the profession of anchoring through his mimicry skills. Till date, he has covered upto 850 shows across India and abroad. He won the Haywards 5000 Mr India contest at Hotel Intercontinental, Mumbai. Rana is a known face as an anchor, on TV channels like Zoom, STAR Plus, Bindass, and Colors. Pravesh Rana got into Bigg Boss 3 as non-celebrity contestant. He has also walked the ramp for the top designers of India, like Rohit Bal, Manish Malhotra, Varun Behal, Vikram Phadnis, Rocky S, Manish Gupta, etc., and has been the face of events like Lakme Fashion Week, Wills India Fashion Week, Lifebuoy Fashion Week, Couture Fashion Week, Playboy Tomboy Magazine, Wills Fashion Show, and Ghanees Film Festival.
