Pratyaksh is an alternative band from one of the Union Territories of India, Chandigarh. The word 'Pratyaksh' means evident/visible. The band was established in January 2012 with just four members, namely, Himanshu, Ojas, Prithvi and Kunal. Soon Anuj and Dharamveer joined and they started with doing LIVE gigs and rock shows. They recorded their first demo 'Fitrat' in November 2012. Their first official song 'Kyun Kho Gaya Insaan', through which they tried to raise the concern towards women empowerment, was dedicated to the 'Delhi gang rape incident'. This song was critically acclaimed. In September 2013, Rupesh Nath 'Rayaaz' replaced Anuj as their lead vocalist. Few years into the world of music and they believe that their journey has just begun and they aim to conquer the skies.
