Biography

Pratap and Harish is a professional dance duo based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. The pair of choreographers is bent on making the world filled with dancing shoes. From Mohiniattam to Broadway, they have done it all. Be it swinging on Bhangra or swaying on ballroom dancing, the duo has seven years of experience in almost 40 kinds of dance forms. From choreographing workshops on official retreats to weddings, they have done all this and more. Pratap and Harish are a name to reckon with in the industry, be it in music videos, TV, films, or concerts. They are looking forward to a year filled with opening ceremonies, concerts, new gigs, films, and much more. Some of the Indian classical dance styles they perform are Bharatnatyam, Odissi, Kathak, Chhau, Kathakali, Kuchipudi, and Mohiniattam Indian Ballet. Their reportoire in folk dance is kalbelia (Rajasthan), ghoomar (Haryana and Rajasthan), ghodi (Rajasthan), lambadi (Rasjasthan), koli (Maharashtra and Goa), teratali (Rajasthan), garba (Gujarat), bhangra (Punjab), lavani (Maharashtra), maniyara (Gujarat), jogwa (Maharashtra), mariamma (Tamil Nadu), dhangi (Kashmiri), karagattam (Tamil Nadu), and gidda (Punjab). They also dance to Western tunes like lambada, samba, jive, flamenco, salsa, Latin, hip-hop, jazz, cha-cha, ballet, belly, ballroom, rock n roll, cancan, swing, and rumba.
