Pranitha is a South Indian film actress and model. She has worked in numerous Kannada, Telugu and Tamil films as a leading actress, alongside other famous actors. Born and raised in Bangalore, Pranitha was pursuing a career in modelling. Eventually she auditioned for roles in a few films and to her good fortune, was casted in box office hits. She debuted in the Kannada film, Porki (2010). This was a remake of the Telugu film, Pokiri. This consequently opened up the doors for her numerous successive roles. In 2010, she also made her debut in Telugu cinema with Em Pillo Em Pillado and a year later in Tamil Cinema with Udhayan.
