My Compelling Story
Prahaar is a LIVE band that originates in New Delhi. They play contemporary classical and semi-classical and progressive rock as a band. The name of the band comes from the Sanskrit origin, ‘Prahaar’ which implies attack or assault. They play music that is a blend of classical music and Sufi rock. They are inspired by traditional classical music and progressive rock acts such as Agni Band, Advaita and Coke Studio. Bollywood songs are also sung in new styles.
