Biography

Pracheeti Dange is a professional dancer based out of Pune, Maharashtra. A renowned Odhishi dancer and exponent, she has been trained under the guidance of renowned Kathak Guru, Smt Yogini Gandhi at the Kalanidhi Institute for 14 years. A lead dancer with the Kalanidhi troupe, Pracheeti has performed in concerts and major festivals all over India.  Performances: Odissi International Festival, Bhubaneshwar Shaniwarwada dance and music Festival Cuttack Mahotsav, International Dance and Music Festival Sanskruti Festival, Mumbai National Centre for Performing Arts, Mumbai Women in Architecture All India Conference, Pune  Prayatna Film and Dance Festival, Pune Pandit Prabhudev Sardar Sangeet Mahotsav, Solapur She performed as a guest artist in Ahmedabad, as a part of the international production Geet Govind ballet, performed by the Menaka Thakkar Dance Company (Canada). Pracheeti has done a diploma in Nrityashastra from Nalanda Dance Research Centre, Mumbai. She has been privileged to get the training by legendary maestros – Pandit Birju Maharaj, Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, Smt Sujata Mohapatra, Guru Lingaraj Pradhan, and Smt Kumkum Lal in the various workshops and seminars. Pracheeti owns 'NrityaVishwa: Odissi Dance Academy', where she imparts training to young and promising Odhishi dancers.
