Prabh Gill, the melodious voice of Punjab, was born in Ludhiana. Music is with him since he was 12 years old. He started learning music at that age only. He stepped into the ground of music and after that he never turned back. His kick off in music was very random, but the feedback from the new fans was encouraging him to go further. After that, it did not take much time for him to go ahead and prove himself as Punjab's finest singer. Music was not an option for Prabh Gill, but it has been his passion. In the year 2009, Prabh recorded his first single song and released it on the Internet. The song went viral and was appreciated by the audiences. There were 1500 downloads in just one day. His second single – 'Mere Dil Di Tu Jaane' – was also released in 2009 and it was done so because of several requests on Facebook, Twitter, and emails. In the year 2011, he came up with two songs, which are superhit now – 'Haan Karde' and 'Sohniye'. In that year only, his another song – 'Tere Bina Jeen Di Gal' – was also released. His song – 'Notorious Jatt' – was on top of the music charts. The song was also played on the BBC.
