Poonam Preet is a professional Indian TV actress based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. She started her acting career with Zee TV's Fear Files and went on to work in popular TV shows like Ek Hasina Thi, Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, and Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls. Before venturing into television, Preet was working with TV commercials, print ads, and theatres. She has acted in two South Indian films as well. Currently, she is seen in Zee TV's daily soap, 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani'. Poonam Preet was nominated for the Best Actress in Comic Role category at the Telly Awards 2014.
