Pooja Vijay is a professional standup comedian based out of based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. Her comedy type is observational humour. She is a non-Hindi speaking ‘Madrasi’ living in Delhi. She decided to pursue comedy as a career after deciding she needed a hobby other than stalking people on Facebook. Through her comedy, she brings a fresh perspective to the life of a stutterer (yes, just like the Nescafe ad except it isn't pretending!), the funny side of being an Indian studying in Europe and her failed attempts at being politically correct. She has performed in the Delhi circuit, was voted the best standup at the Piano Man Open Mic, opened for many famous comedians, done open spots at Canvas Club, and hosts her own comedy room in Delhi.
