Biography

Placid Pinch is a LIVE band based out of Dimapur, Nagaland. Formed in 2013 by Albert Jinger and Wati Imchen, this band plays modern Indian rock, classic rock, experimental rock, and progressive rock; so, naturally, you are bound to find variety in their music. Known for their energy on the stage, they have a catchy, bold sound along with melodic and powerful vocals. Their win at the TechAura National Open Beat Contest in Dimapur gave them recognition as one of the most talented emerging bands from the region. Their lyrics carry strong messages of peace, harmony, and unity which people find easy to relate to. The lineup is Albert Jinger (Vocals), Wati Imchen (Guitar), Kora Aiyer (Bass) and Aso Kenavi (Drums). The band draws its major influences from artists such as 30 Seconds to Mars, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Incubus, Kings of Leon, Killers, The Script, Imagine Dragons, Dream Theater, U2, Journey, Muse, Mr Big, Bon Jovi, Europe, Queen, and many more.
