Piyush Ambhore is a professional singer based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. He is a talented singer who achieved fame when he got featured in 'Close-up Bharat Ki Shaan Season 3', which was broadcast on the DD National channel. His family background has not been musical, but he, however, used to sing for people of his village. Piyush won his first singing competition held on a Durga Pooja, when he was only three years old. Soon, he moved to Delhi at 13 with his family and participated in the singing reality TV show, Zee TV Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs where he stood in the top 30s. When Piyush turned 16, he again got selected for the show and reached in top 30s. He learned Indian classical music from Suresh Wadkar for quite some time and then went on to do research and experiments on various gharanas (schools) of music. In 2013, he participated in 'Close-Up Bharat Ki Shaan Season 3 and stood as the top finalist. Piyush is also a self-taught guitarist, composer and lyricist, and now he works as a full-time musician in New Delhi. Piyush recently participated in the singing reality TV show, The Voice India on &TV, under Himesh Reshammiya's team.
