My Compelling Story

Pied Rider, aka Abhishek Langote, is a professional DJ based out of Pune, Maharashtra. He kick-started his career as a DJ back in 2009. A psychedelic trance project that the DJ started as an experiment led him to discover where his passion lies. He started off as the Resident DJ at some of Pune’s popular bars. From playing rock music to psytrance and trance, Pied Rider has been trending on various charts today. 2013 witnessed the birth of Trance Tales, cloudcasts that represent psychedelic, progressive, uplifting and other sub-genres in trance. Trance Tales uploads featured amongst the top trending tracks on Mixcloud in no time. He also recorded guest mixes for TenziFM, India's premier electronic dance music radio and magazine. In 2015, Pied Rider graduated as a lawyer. Hoping to do justice by serving psytrance movement, he has performed alongside numerous artists namely Audiogramme, Bizzare Contact, Indian Ocean, EVP, Kashyyyk, Southwild, Parasect, Sonic Species, and much more. He draws his inspiration from Aly and Fila, Astrix, Coming Soon, Daniel Lesden, Ilai, E-Clip, Outsiders, Middle Mode, Ghost Rider, Rank 1, Solarstone, Sean Tyas, Sideform, Simon Patterson, Shivatree, Symbolic, Vertical Mode, Zen Mechanics and Zyce to name a few.
