My Compelling Story
Photo Tantra is a team of two wedding photographers who came together to have a contemporary take on wedding photography. This energetic husband and wife duo has shot all over India, Thailand, Dubai, Scotland, Nepal, Kenya, and Tanzania. They have covered weddings from almost all communities possible, within India. Photo Tantra is based out of New Delhi but is available globally. Photo Tantra offers a wide array of customized photography services all over India. Their services include pre-wedding shoots and candid wedding photography. Photo Tantra is the brainchild of photographers – Vinayak Das and Snigdha Sheel – a husband-wife team. They are perhaps the first husband-wife photographer team in India. As a team, they have been shooting since 2006 and it has been a fantastic journey so far. As people, they both love animals, good food, babies, laughter, traveling, company of friends, and sweet moments that surround life and its celebrations. As photographers, they capture exactly the same things that they love in life. As candid wedding photographers, they, at Photo Tantra, have covered all wedding related ceremonies quite extensively. They have provided services to NRI weddings, Church weddings, Jain weddings, Muslim weddings, Tamil weddings, Bengali weddings, Coorgi weddings, Maharashtrian weddings, Kannadiga weddings and Arya Samaj weddings, Jewish weddings, Sikh weddings, North Indian weddings, Telugu weddings, Iyengar weddings, Iyer weddings, Sindhi Weddings, Malayali weddings, Mangalorean weddings, and destination weddings. As a husband and wife team, their work compliments each other. Vinayak’s forte is people photography and documentary. His photojournalistic style gets reflected in the candid moments and a moment’s realistic documentation. Snigdha, on the other hand, gets into the basic details – and being a woman, her photos depict the emotions that one goes through in a wedding. Their photography style reflects their love for creativity and adventure. That's the simple mantra of Photo Tantra. Awards: Nominated for the Kodak Wedding Photographer of the year 2010–2011
