Pebet is a folk rock LIVE band based out of Imphal, Manipur. It was formed in the year 2015. The band is composed of seven talented musicians that play Manipuri folk music. The band's music includes folk tunes played in the right way, which connects to every Manipuri person in their state of Manipur. Pebet constantly writes new music and aims at reaching audiences beyond their home state. The band uses some traditional instruments in their music. So far, they have released one official music video called 'Pebet Mathi'. The band has done astonishingly well in a genre where audiences are limited. They have even performed outside their home state. They have also released an EP consisting of four folk numbers.
