Parinday music of soul, is a LIVE band that aims to express deep spiritual ideas through music. The idea of the band was inspired by the long poem – Mantiq al-Tayr (The Conference of the Birds) that was penned by Persian Sufi poet Farid ud-Din Attar. The idea is about the seven journeys of the soul, which comprise the obstacles encountered and the ways to overcome them. The band believes that the soul speaks through music; it reaches areas where even poetry and art fail to reach. The members are talented musicians coming from both Indian and Western backgrounds. The music of Parinday is lively, rhythmic and energizing.
