Angaraag Mahanta aka Papon Gogoi is a professional singer, composer, and producer based out of Mumbai, Maharashtra. Born to a set of brilliant musicians of Assam, he was introduced to music and its intricacies at a very early age. His father, Late Khagen Mahanta, and mother, Archana Mahanta, were two very popular musicians of the region. He has been exposed to – from the traditional folk songs to ghazals, and new-age electronica. Blessed with a soulful voice, Papon has carved a niche for himself as a versatile singer and composer.
