Biography
Pankhuri Awasthi is a professional anchor/emcee based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. She was the host of Style Junky on Channel V, along with VJ Andy. The video jockey and actor is the daughter of celebrated playback singer, Sapna Awasthi, and the granddaughter of Suresh Awasthi, a noted theatre scholar and ex-chairperson of National School of Drama. The eminent emcee has over 100 entertainment and corporate events to her credit. She was also the host for Airtel Music My Song, My Story, a music-based show. Pankhuri was also a part of YouTube video ‘Rap Against Rape’ which got viral worldwide. In addition to her television work, Pankhuri has also ventured into the sphere of English theatre with her play 'Utter Cupidity' that was acclaimed critically and commercially. VJ Pankhuri made her Bollywood debut in Prabhudeva's Ramaiya Vastavaiya where she was seen playing a negative role.
