Panchajanya Dey, the devoted performer of Indian classical music (Hindustani classical flutist), was inclined towards music from a very tender age. Being a first generation musician of his family, it was quite a difficult choice for him to opt Indian classical music as his profession, however, his fervent confidence and great determination prompted him to explore this new path and owing to his rigorous diligence and vigor he has successfully established himself in this sphere. It has been a common notion that Indian classical music is becoming a "dying art" and its commercial viability is very bleak, but Panchajanya, being the maverick that he is, deliberately tries to decimate this regressive notion and tries to present classical music in such a way that it appeals to a huge number of audience, however, the immaculate purity of the form is also adhered to. Music is said to be a universal language, which directly communicates with soul - Panchajanya Dey's recitation defines this statement. He is a devoted performer of Hindustani Classical Music. He can perform flute solo in different kinds of genres like classical, fusion, Bollywood numbers and many more. He also has a band named Hamelin, which is a fusion band available for all kinds of musical shows and events.
