Orbitual is a LIVE band based out the IT capital of India, Bangalore. The band was formed in 2010 under the name, Band Aid. The band members – Ayush J, Tushar B, Ketan B, and Sachin V – attended the same college. Individually, the band members have varied influences, from soft rock and death metal to progressive, extreme and heavy metal. The sound of the band is mostly influenced by groove and thrash metal. Orbitual faced no line-up changes but went on a hiatus for six months. They regrouped in mid July of 2011 with stronger individual ideas. With the band's new name 'Orbitual', it acquired a new sound and outlook. Since July 2011, the band has been working on new material and is looking forward to releasing an EP soon. The band is famous for diverse influences integrated within their songs. They have played over 70 shows, including local college competitions and at traditional gig venues as well. Orbitual has played at Cemetery Gates, which featured top Indian bands and have also played alongside international acts such as Cyanide Serenity on their Consuming India Tour 2010.
