My Compelling Story
An independent artist from the city of New Delhi, Ningthoujam Namrata Devi is a budding singer and musician. She has developed herself as an independent singer and plays out soulful music at her performances. Music has become her passion, her breath and her life. Namrata cannot imagine a life of music. There are ample of choices for one to choose their field or career. The exposure of technology has expanded this avenue even more. It was in her teens that surfing through blogs and videos she saw the melodies sung by revered artists. This developed in her an instinct to take up music as a career opportunity. For a brief time her performances were limited to shows and events at her campus. But with rising popularity and a little bit of motivation from her friends and family she has started taking up corporate events and private shows. Namrata’s mesmerizing voice exuberates a positive energy in the environment. The audience can’t resist but join her in singing the chorus. She has uploaded covers and acoustic versions on her Instagram page which has been greatly appreciated by her followers.
