Nikhil Rajeshirke is a popular actor in Marathi entertainment industry. This handsome and charmingly talented actor stole many hearts as chef Satya in popular web series Moving Out opposite Abhidnya Bhave. He has showcased his talent through numerous projects like films, serials, theatre, short film, web series across Marathi, Hindi and English languages.
A versatile person and a passionate actor, he took the first steps in acting in Class 7, with the play Aamchya Ya Gharat. In Class 8, Mahesh Manjrekar’s film Tera Mera Saath. His other films include 4 Idiots (2012), Bikers Adda (2018), Asehi Ekada Vhave (2018) and has a few upcoming ones. He has made a presence in various TV series like Lagori, De Dhamal, Aabhalmaya, Arundhati, Nayak, Ek Mohor Abol, Priti Pari Tujvari, Dilya Ghari Tu Sukhi Raha, Aata Bola, Betaab Dil Ki Tamanna, and few upcoming projects.
Having started acting professionally he also indulged in One Act Plays (Ekankika) during college. These include Akhercha Raas, Une Chhapanna, Back To School, etc. He also did plays like Punch A Tantra (English play), Veer Vachan, Siddhivinayak Saves Mumbai From Terror Attack, God Bless You, Aamhi Travelkars. His most recent one Strawberry was a super hit.
He has worked as an assistant director in movie Tendulkar Out. As a child, he read a plays on radio. He has directed a short film called Colors of White. He is also a singer and sung the Pepsi jingle few years back. Based out of Mumbai, native of Chiplun, a practising Ayurveda doctor, Nikhil is a passion driven man of many talents.
