Biography

Nikhil Pol, who also goes by the artistic pseudonym of Nickalawz, is an Indian DJ and music producer. He grew up in Pune, which is well known for its amazing and vibrant nightlife as well as an attractive tourist destination. He has previously studied at the Pioneer DJ Academy and holds a diploma of sound engineering from Seamedu School of Sound Engineering in Pune.  The smiles he sees every time from behind his spin is what motivates him.  Nikhil is known for doing unique LIVE musical experiments that are highly appreciated by all – especially because of the personal touch he always adds. Although psy-trance and hip-hop/trap are his signature genres, he considers himself as a diversified disk jockey who plays almost everything. After a brief solo career, he says that the most challenging thing about being a DJ and music producer in Pune is the high level of competition which made him struggle in his career debut as a music producer.
