Neel Adhikari is a well-established Indie singer and a songwriter who has jammed with Roheet, Avinash and Subhodip on his own compositions he has written till date. Neel and the Lightbulbs got their songs recorded in no time, in a house concert with limited audience. This video album was shot by Neel’s friends who are filmmakers by profession. The band formed as the video received positive reviews from public. Members: Neel is the lead vocalist, and also plays guitar in the band. He has had gigs with different bands in Kolkata, and with some award-winning musicians of the world, like Asian Dub Foundation, Susheela Raman, and Sam Mills. Neel is a music director too, and composes for films. He contributed his music in the film ‘Gandu’ by Q, which gave him recognition in the entertainment world. Later, he also worked with Q in the film Tasher Desh. Subhodip Banerjee is a guitar champion and also gives back vocals. He is the youngest one of the band. He also plays as an acoustic duo with Anupam Roy in Ifs and Buts band. Roheet Mukherjee is the bass guitarist and plays with several bands. He has also worked on the soundtrack of ‘Gandu’ – the award-winning film. He also plays with Ganesh Talkies band and Anupam Roy, too. Avinash Chordia is the drummer, and is like the heart of the band. He is one of the most-wanted drummers in the town! He plays with The Saturday Night Blues band, with Ehsaan Noorani and an indie band called The Supersonics. He is also working as a producer with The Peninsula Studios, a Delhi-based content-creation company.
