Biography

Being born to multi-cultural parents in New York City, I come from humble beginnings. It was a struggle growing up in my neighborhood, I was faced with many adversities throughout my childhood & teenage years. I worked my first job at 15, teaching arts, crafts & ceramics at a summer camp to children. This continued for about 4 years, after which I began an internship as a student teacher in my final year of college, where I was working towards a degree in Psychology & Fine Arts. It was during this year that I realized I wasn’t ready to teach. As a young adult who hasn’t yet experienced life fully, what & how would I teach those children? At this point , I decided to take matters into my own hands.. I packed my bags and set out to explore the world & see what it had to offer. Modeling turned out to be my key to freedom & exploration. I got the opportunity to travel the world & live in various cities for months at a time.. I learnt new cultures, new languages and found that life is what you make of it! I started modeling in 2005, and learnt valuable life lessons that no school could have ever taught! I continued modeling up until 2010, when Imtiaz Ali discovered me, this was an amazing encounter and went on to become one of the most important events of my life. I took up the offer to come to India to try out a new career path, and that’s how ROCKSTAR happened. Rockstar released on November 11, 2011, and from that day forward, I’ve embarked on my most interesting journey to date!
