Nanda Kumar is a professional dancer based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. He has trained in funk jazz at Shiamak Davar’s Dance Company for more than three years now. Nanda has choreographed for RAW ENERGY as a part of the International Dance Festival in Birmingham, UK for Sampad, South Asian Arts. He has also performed at the Alchemy Festival (Canada) in 2012 and NCPA, Mumbai in 2013. Some of his best performances are at Sirpur National Music and Dance Festival 2014, Youth Festival by Sahitya Kala Parishad 2012-13, and various Sadhya's productions like The Game of Dice, The Mystical Forest, Jashne-Azadi, and Adhvan. Nanda has choreographed many dance pieces like The Ode to Gurus (Sadhya’s piece for the Quarterfest 2012) and a trio piece called In and Out for the World Dance Day 2014 at Sangeet Natak Akademi. He has performed The Game of Dice at the National School of Drama, Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2014, and also assisted Santosh Nair in Adhvan – Celebrating 15 years of Sadhya. He has chosen to perform The Life of Gautama Buddha, directed by Lushin Dubey and Bubbles Sabharwal in the US.
