Nagar Sankirtan LIVE is a seven-piece folk (baul fakiri) project based out of the capital of West Bengal, Kolkata. The project was conceived in 2012 and since then, they have never looked back. The band's music is based on indigenous sounds – Bengali folk music – and the band has successfully managed to implement folk music into their overall sound and formed a unique music of their own. The band has received critical acclamation from the independent artists as well as people who listened to their music. Currently, they are working on their debut album, 'Aarshinagar'.
