Mrigya, in Sanskrit, means 'the hunt'. The band is one of the premier world and fusion music bands based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. Formed in 1999, the band has turned out to be a contemporary world-music band, exploring the boundaries of Indian classical music and becoming the harbinger of a unique, fusion band offering a fresh blend of funk, ?blues, Latino, folk, ?Indian classical, and Jazz.
