Mridhula Sekhar is a professional singer based out of the capital city of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. In the year 2008, her love for the arts took a greater turn. She started working with The Little Theatre, Chennai, and continued to do a lot more musical theatre with many more Chennai-based theatre groups – Nicholas Productions and The Hot Shoe Dance Company. This opportunity gave her a chance to work with amazing artists and musical groups across Chennai from whom she learnt the art of blending performance into her music. Their work was featured in leading newspapers and magazines. In 2009, Mridhula tried her hand out at Karaoke. The freedom of singing to an audience – the good, bad and ugly – shot adrenaline through her veins. While trying to further establish herself, she took part in many competitions. One of them was the Karaoke World Championship 2012, where she stood 2nd (Nationals). The response from her supporters made her feel great. She has sung with many bands within the country and abroad, and is a core member of bands High Definition and Sapta. She has sung for advertisements and movies. She also had the pleasure of working with Anirudh Ravichander for the movie 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' and touring with him to Canada and Malaysia. Through her music, Mridhula wants to spread the message of love, life and soul, and invite you to be a part of her journey with her.
