Biography

Gracious and multi-talented are the two defining virtues of Monica Murthy. She holds an MBA in Media & Communications from Whistling Woods International. She has a wide expanse of experience in different fields. She started her career as a marketing executive with Doordarshan and wherefrom, within a year, moved on to become a TV anchor with DD National and DD Sahyadri. Her acting career marked its beginning in 2014 during which, she has acted in a movie and a TV Serial – ‘Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara‘. Monica can speak seven different languages viz. English, Hindi, Kannada, Gujarati, Tamil, Bengali and Punjabi. Being the perfect embodiment of beauty with brains, she adds charm in her shows and performances, with her wittiness, spontaneity; and engaging activities. She believes that the best way to be different is to be yourself, and hence keeps innovating herself, adding fun and glamor to her work.
