Mohan Joshi is an Indian film, television, and theatre actor.He was born in a lower-middle-class family in Bangalore and lived there for 7 years. Later, he moved to Pune, and while he was in college, he joined a theatre group.After completing his graduation, he started working at Kirloskar Group in Pune.Later, he left his job and started his own transport company where he himself worked as a truck driver for almost eight years. After one of the vehicles of his transport company met with an accident, he decided to shut down his company.While he was struggling for a better living, he continued to act in theatre plays. He came into the limelight with his theatre play Kuryat Sada Tingalam. He has performed in this play for more than 1000 times.
