Mike Kerr is a professional singer based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. The freelance vocalist sings for the band, 2 AM, and a side project called S&M Project. Mike was also a part of bands like Bridge, Mojo Rising, Wild Orchid, Stormwind, etc.
Mike has a clean and vibrant voice; he sings in a tenor manner, possesses an almost three-octave vocal range and is capable of reaching high notes. He sings over 600+ songs and is backed-up by famous musicians to complete his versatility.
He covers different genres such as pop, rock, retro, country, jazz, etc. and has been performing gigs with different musicians and bands and as a solo artist at many places in and around the city.
Mike is greatly influenced by classic soul singers like Freddie Mercury, Steve Perry, Frank Sinatra, Lou Gramm, Garth Brook, Billie Joel, Robbie Williams, Percy Sledge, Shakin’ Stevens, Michael Bubble, Rod Stewart, Leo Sayer, etc.
He started singing in the church choir at the age of nine. At the age of 11, Mike formed an acapella group called Destiny (Gospel) and sang soprano and tenor. At the age of 14, he got his first guitar and started his solo performances thereafter.
