Menwhopause is a four-piece LIVE band from New Delhi. The band&rsquo;s debut EP&nbsp;&#39;The Story Begins&#39;&#39;&nbsp;was released and available online for free download, in 2003. Later, Menwhopause released a full-length album &#39;Home&#39;&nbsp;under the record label of its own. The band has toured and performed in the USA twice with an appearance at SxSW 2007 in Austin, Texas, and also a full-fledged tour in Texas as well. In 2012, they toured in Europe where they played at various festivals in Norway, France, and Estonia. The band won the 2008 Jack Daniel&rsquo;s &lsquo;Best Band of the Year&rsquo; award and got the opportunity to work with Dave Barbe &ndash; REM&rsquo;s producer&nbsp;in Nashville, Tennessee. The second album,&nbsp;&lsquo;Easy&rsquo;,&nbsp;was first recorded at a campsite in Uttaranchal, after which, it took Menwhopause four years to re-record and produce the album. In 2009, the band signed up with EMI-Virgin Records India &ndash; and having done that, &lsquo;Easy&rsquo; turned out to be a major label debut, with a team that comprised Miti Adhikari (Radiohead, Nirvana) and Richard Dodd (Kings of Leon, Tom Petty). The album was declared a commercial success in India, and got included among the &lsquo;most brilliant albums by an Indian band&rsquo;&nbsp;by The Times of India.
