Melvin has never taken any formal training in dance and has learned to dance by himself.He was passionate about dancing since his childhood and wanted to pursue dancing as his career, and in the process, he participated in the reality TV show, Dance India Dance (DID) in 2009. He has more than 3.66 M subscribers on his YouTube channel, and he posts his dance videos on popular numbers and also posts his vlogs in the channel.In December 2018, Amitabh Bachchan and Anand Mahindra (Indian Entrepreneur and Chairman of the Mahindra Group) shared Melvins video dancing to the song Lamberghini with Harleen Sethi, on their social media accounts.In 2019, he appeared in the song of Emiway Bantai titled Bajo..In 2019, he appeared in one of the episodes of the TVF series, The Royal Palate (2019).In 2019, he judged one of Europes biggest Bollywood dance competitions, Indian Dance Fest.He is also a TEDx speaker. He goes to various colleges across the country and influence students to utilize their skills to create content that can be shared.
