Meenakshi is best known in India and abroad for her streamlined and sensible approach to beauty and style. Meenakshi’s dedication got paid off when she won the Miss Delhi and Miss Navy Queen contests and decided to become a professional model in 1988. Meenakshi ruled the ramp, and became the most sought-after model along with being a TV talk-show anchor. Eventually, she shifted gears and chose makeover and styling as her ultimate profession, in 2003. In all these years, Meenakshi has wielded her magic wand on several Indian supermodels and beautiful celebs like Amrita Rao, Tanushree Dutta, Sayali, Bipasha Basu, Laxmi Pandit, Yukta Mookhey, Indrani Dasgupta, Yana Gupta, Neha Dhupia, Nikita Anand, Anupama Verma, Fleur Xavier, and Jesse Randhawa – to name a few. She has done several makeup assignments for photoshoots, TVCs and print advertisements, music videos, fashion shows, launches, and TV talk shows – not only nationwide but also in the UK, Kuwait, Malaysia, USA, Hong Kong, and Mauritius. At Kuwait, in June 2003, Meenakshi was invited to promote exclusive products by Laura Mercier and Becca. She has two salons in Delhi, with best facilities, staff, and ambiance. Her studios deal in haircut, pedicure, nail art, steam & spa, bridal makeup, pre-bridal makeup, party makeup, personal grooming classes, and complete makeovers.
