Mayanti Langer is a professional anchor/emcee based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. She is an Indian TV sports journalist with ESPN, Zee Sports and Ten Sports.
She headed a team of expert panellists alongside John Dykes in the match previews and post-match analysis for FIFA World Cup 2010 broadcast on ESPN for the Indian subcontinent.
Mayanti is an Indian journalist with STAR. She has hosted and entertained many tourneys like 2010 FIFA World Cup broadcast on ESPN, Football Cafe on Zee Sports, 2011 Cricket World Cup, 2010 Commonwealth Games, 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup and 2014 Indian Super League.
Her interest in football grew when she was in the USA, as her father worked in UN. She was in her college football team and then became a guest anchor for a broadcast of FIFA Beach Football.
With the success of the broadcast, she was offered a spot as a host and associate producer for Football Cafe on Zee Sports.
Mayanti then went on to work for several football shows on the Zee Network providing interviews and commentary during pre-match, half-time and post-match shows.
She was also the anchor on Zee Sports for the Nehru Cup Football Tournament held in New Delhi at the Ambedkar Stadium. She worked as an anchor for Zee Sports' coverage of the Indian Cricket League.
Mayanti also hosted 2010 Commonwealth Games held at Delhi alongside Charu Sharma.
